As a business you ensure that everything runs smoothly and that your clients and employees are happy in safe and comfortable surroundings.  This is achieved through lots of consideration and planning, which you’re good at, it’s part of your customer service skills.

But what about the toilets, staff kitchens, shower facilities?

Unfortunately these things are usually low down on the budget and forgotten about until there is a major problem and almost guaranteed to arise at the worst moment.

Drain Doctor are always there of course for any emergency, 24/7.  We are the experts to help you get back on track as soon as possible.

But the costs for drain clearance, repairs or replacements is just one consideration.  More importantly it’s the disgruntled and even angry client, staff who can’t use the facilities or have been flooded, employees bemoaning how there’s always a problem or worst of all having to shut down operations completely until the issue is resolved.  Unfortunately we have seen it all, in both the private and public sectors.

So what can we do ?

In conjunction with you, we can develop a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) package customised to your requirements and budget.  We have experience of a wide range of commercial properties.  Our current clients include offices, pubs, restaurants and even a theatre.  PPM is PROVEN to save money and lessen the impact on the environment by saving water and not using harsh chemicals.

What does it entail?

After a free survey we will be able to advise you what should be done with a programme of works and a no obligation quote. Once agreed it’s a three stage process:

  1. Access to physically clean all of the primary waste pipes from sinks, showers and descale the urinals and, depending on the building lay out, the stacks and foul lines.  This is completed with our electrical mechanical devices and sometimes high pressure water jetting.
  1. Treat the waste pipes with microbiotic enzyme cleaners, specifically designed for different areas, eg urinals, kitchen sinks, shower blocks.  Applied correctly by our technicians, the solutions release enzyme strains to break down and digest fats oils greases and uric insoluble deposits.  This can be a single treatment or better still we can install an automatic dosing system to keep things flowing.
  1. Arrange a programme of subsequent visits, usually every 3 or 4 months to clean and treat.

We appreciate it might feel like it’s another cost to consider, but it allows you to budget it as a fixed cost throughout the year and have peace of mind.   Can you afford not to?
